LYF_Connection
Check out LYF_Connection every Sunday morning at the LYF Center. LYF_Connection is a great way to get connected with others in the LYF student ministry. We meet at both the 9:30am hour and 11am hour.
The process of spiritual development begins with establishing meaningful relationships and understanding how God’s word can inspire us to life change. We were created to be in relationships with one another and do life together. At LYF our goal is to connect everyone to relationships that challenge them to grow in their walk with God and each other. Just like the early church of Acts, we strive to live in community becaust that is the best place for life change to occur.
I believe that one of the best things you can do for yourself in this youth group is to get connected. There are so many things to be a part of and participate in with LYF Ministries that you could end up almost living at the LYF Center! There are multiple groups and teams to get connected with at LYF! One of the most common and what I believe is the most important is getting connected to a D_Group. Getting into a D_Group gets you involved with a group of students your age that are dealing with the same issues and are into the same things you are.
Sisters 4 LYF is really great because you meet someone with some of the same views and interests as you. For me, Sisters 4 LYF is really great because you have someone there for you even if no one else is. An older sister is someone you can look to for advice and definitely look up to. My “big sister”, Lauren, is the nicest person, besides my friends and family, you could ever know. It’s really great to know there’s someone there for you. You can hang out with her, go to the movies or lunch, and ask for her opinion on things.
